More on this playground
The City of St. Charles and the Parks and Recreation Department recognized the need for a truly accessible playground and invited Unlimited Play to join them for the effort to transform Jaycee Park into a destination playground. Discovery Playground was themed around an “Adventure/Explorer” theme with fruit bearing vines, chess boards under a beautiful pergola and includes a unique water play area that resembles the Missouri bluffs. Discovery Playground utilizes the natural hillside of the park and includes the following:

- Swing Area (Traditional, toddler, ADA accessible and Biggo Saucer Swing)
- Roller and metal slides (For those with cochlear implants
- Accessible one of a kind water play feature that replicates the Missouri bluffs
- Musical play features (Free notes)
- Interlocking rubber tile surfacing
- Is fenced in
- Shelters, pergola & connective pathways and trails
- Family friendly bathrooms
