This inspiring park includes an Armed Forces Memorial area, a nod to its name and purpose. Within the park, a paved path encompasses an inclusive playground, picnic shelters with ample seating, and a half-court basketball court.
A unique attraction of this park is the inclusive playground, a designated Gold Universal Playspace by Unlimited Play. At Brighton Township Veterans Park, children of all abilities and skill levels can play together. This playground is proudly the first of its kind in the state of Michigan. You and your four-legged friend can enjoy strolling through the Service Dog Memorial. Wander to the park’s north end and enjoy some exercise off-leash in a 6,400 square foot fenced-in dog run.
